Map Of Tasmania: Portrait (Of Sorts) Of Amanda And Neil
2010 Watercolour, gouache, coloured pencil and lead pencil on cold-pressed paper, 50cm x 60cm (from the collection of Amanda Palmer).

The above was one of my earliest ideas, rendered in watercolour and pencil for a song
called Map Of Tasmania. It was discarded out of concern for her husband, the best-
selling author, Neil Gaiman, whose hair inspired the impressionistic map of Australia
hovering atop Amanda's own 'map of Tasmania'. Later, when Neil saw it, he
encouraged us both to publish it widely via the web. The work itself  is now in the
couple's collection.
